Weekend Mini-Organizing Challenge: Swimwear/Towels
Need some organizing motivation and inspiration, or a gentle nudge? Subscribe to my blog to receive mini-organizing challenges several weekends a month. They will be automatically emailed to you so you won’t have to remember to visit the blog.
Mini-organizing challenges are doable and will focus on de-cluttering a tiny area of your home. If the weekend challenge “speaks” to you, then set your timer for 30 minutes and start organizing/de-cluttering. Stop when the timer goes off and enjoy the rest of your weekend knowing that you accomplished something! Of course you may continue organizing if you have gained the momentum you were looking for.
Mini-Challenge: Swimwear/Towels
Summer, glorious summer! Swimsuit and flip-flop weather.
Have you edited your swimwear recently? If your family members are pool rats in the summer, has the swimwear overfloweth?
Edit the trunks that have shrunk and the bikinis/tankinis that are too teeny. Check the elastic. Does it still bounce back or has it become crispy with age? Swimwear that is faded, pilled and practically see-through may give you cause to part with it.
How are your beach towels holding up? Local humane societies or animal rescues usually accept worn towels.
Celebrate completion of this challenge by going to the pool, beach or boating.
