Garage Tips: Storage Containers

Labeled storage containers keep a category of like things together.  Items stored in containers on a shelf or in a cabinet will be easy to find and accessible.  Think outside of the organizing box when choosing containers.  I have used the following to contain items in my garage or in client’s garages.

Plastic jars re-purposed to hold screws

Laundry Baskets: toys, balls, rags, tarps.

Plastic Dish Pans: spray paint, chemicals, sidewalk chalk

Crates: balls, toys, paint

Jars: screws, nails, nuts and bolts

Re-purposed clementine crates from the grocery store: jars of nails, garden gloves, rope, garage hooks.
