Need some organizing motivation and inspiration, or a gentle nudge? Simply subscribe to my blog to receive mini-organizing challenges several weekends a month. They will be automatically emailed to you so you won’t have to remember to visit the blog.
Mini-organizing challenges are doable and will focus on decluttering a tiny area of your home. If the weekend challenge “speaks” to you, then set your timer for 30 minutes and start organizing/decluttering. Stop when the timer goes off and enjoy the rest of your weekend knowing that you accomplished something! Of course you may continue organizing if you have gained the momentum you needed.
Mini-Challenge: Workout Room
This is a sweet and enticing workout room pictured above, isn’t it? Who wouldn’t want to exercise in that space.
A cluttered workout room or clutter on your workout equipment will stop workouts before they an even begin and have you feeling less energetic on the spot.
Let’s make a healthy change!
The challenge this weekend will help you create a clutter-free and excuse-free workout area. After 30 minutes, you may be able to uncover a piece of equipment you have been wanting to use. Or, you may uncover a piece of equipment you want to sell! This is especially true if the equipment didn’t suit you, or you have another piece you prefer to use.
Donate, recycle, toss and sell items you that no longer serve you. Relocate things that have gravitated into your workout space to their proper homes.
Your reward, an energizing workout.
I use my office as a yoga and strength training space in my home. It’s a calming, energetic, clutter-free area with my favorite paint color on the wall.
