[Day 13] Flower Vases: Kitchen Clutter Clear Out

Welcome back, it’s day 13 of the Kitchen Clutter Clear Out!  Vases are the focus for today.

Where do you store your flower vases?   If your storage cabinet is getting a bit cramped and you want to clear it out, read on.

Go to your flower vase storage area and start pulling them out.  Wipe down the shelf.

Now it’s time to make some decisions about those vases.   Put your purging cap on.  Are there some vases you acquired for free—with a flower delivery or a from a friend?  What about the vases you don’t even like? There might even be a few vases you received as wedding gifts a decade or many decades ago, sitting in their boxes. Don’t worry,  you aren’t the only one.

Donate as many vases as you need to in order to de-clutter the area and make it more spacious for the vases you do want to keep.  A good rule of thumb is to have one vase to hold a single cut flower, keep a medium size vase and a large vase.  Consider how many times you need more than one vase at the same time.

After you have finished today’s de-cluttering challenge, reward yourself with a nice bouquet of flowers!  You deserve it.

Simply,

Jill
